It’s season two of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and the Georgia peaches are surely not soft. The ladies are back and feistier than ever in the first dose of Southern hospitality, which aired Thursday night on Bravo.

This season there’s been a change in the lineup, as DeShawn Snow has left and been replaced by Kandi Burruss, a Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter who used to be in the girl group Xscape.
Burress joins resident housewives Sporty Spice Lisa Wu Harwell, outspoken wine-loving NeNe Leakes, fiercely confident fashion designer wanna-be Sheree Whitfield and wig-wearing Kim Zolciak, who’s so dripping with diamonds you need an umbrella.
Hot-lanta starts off with NeNe, who has invited over the painfully chic Dwight, the “go-to guy in Atlanta,” to decorate her new home. After turning up his nose at her silk plant and telling NeNe her new $15,000 drapes are not dramatic enough for his taste, Dwight gets down and dirty with a champagne bottle.
In his best phone operator voice, Dwight smooth-talks the cap off the bottle with lines like, “Just ease it off and let it come naturally,” and “Feel it. Ooh, it’s coming.”
At least he’s thoughtful of others, asking NeNe, when he had finished, “Did you enjoy that?”
But Dwight’s just getting started in his bid to make “Housewives” into his own personal pay-per-view show.
While explaining to NeNe the merits of a grand curtain in her at-home movie theater, he starts shimmying up against an imaginary stripper pole, grinding against the wall and crawling like a seductive tiger across the floor.
NeNe is loving the whole deal, and as she receives a Dwight lap dance, yells, “This is how you decorate a house”
Maybe, but you know Dwight doesn’t come cheap. With a proboscis that looks like LaToya Jackson’s, you know you’ll pay through the, er, nose, for his business.
I am begging you, Bravo, do not give this man the spinoff he is so desperately clamoring for.
Meanwhile, a newly single Kim visits her psychic, Rose. After breaking up with “Big Poppa,” her sugar-daddy boyfriend from last season, Kim’s gotta find out how to pay for her own diamonds. Luckily, psychic Rose tells her that she sees success in a new business venture in Kim’s palm — as well as a baby boy in her near future.
Perhaps there’s a way to combine baby and business?
Kim is a true believer, rushing out of Rose’s house, saying, “I gotta go home … I gotta get pills to not get pregnant. And pills to stay … sane”
