Here at the Buzz we think Miley is working a little too hard to shed her squeaky-clean, bratty Hannah Montana Pop Star persona.

This time Miles attracted attention by sporting an itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny, hot-pink bikini.  We think her wardrobe choice was less about showing off her body and more about showing off her newly inked “Just Breathe” tattoo.

Cyrus debuted her new tat last Thursday poolside with friends at a Miami, Fla. hotel. On-lookers claimed said she was motioning to the tattoo while being photographed.

Miley’s home state of Tennessee bans tattooing minors, however other states allow minors to get inked with a parent’s permission. Team Miley didn’t confirm whether the tattoo was real or temporary.

There’s usually a personal story linked to a tattoo design and one devoted “fanogger” speculated about Miley’s “Just Breathe” story.  Cyrus & 9-year old fan Vanessa, a cystic fibrosis patient, created a special bond after Miley met Vanessa at a Los Angeles hospital.  The fanogger thinks “Just Breathe” is a tribute to Vanessa who passed away from the disease in 2007.

The New York Daily News said the “Hannah Montana” star is to appear in a scene in which Kim Cattrall’s character, Samantha, finds herself on a red carpet at a posh event, wearing the same designer frock as Cyrus.

The realization prompts Samantha’s friend, Anthony, played by Mario Cantone, to shriek: “Mother of God. She is wearing the same dress as Hannah Montana”

MTV.com said Cyrus is expected to shoot the scene later this month.

Miley’s Aug. 28 performance  is her second in the morning show’s live concert series.

NBC says Mariah’s concert is postponed until future notice, no reason for the change was given.

Kelly Preston, who has been mourning the death of her 16-year-old son since January, has signed on to play Miley Cyrus’ mom in the U.S. film “The Last Song.”

Preston  and Greg Kinnear will appear as the estranged parents of Cyrus’ character in the big-screen adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’s novel, “The Last Song.” The film started shooting this week in Georgia.

Wow – the two surely look like they could be mother and daugther!

Preston’s son, Jett, with her husband, actor John Travolta, died of a seizure disorder during a family holiday in the Bahamas.

Neither Preston nor Travolta have made many public appearances since.

Travolta and Cyrus previously lent their voices to animated characters in the movie “Bolt.”

Cyrus co-stars on The Disney Channel family comedy with his 16-year-old daughter, Miley. The cast recently completed work on the show’s third season.

Cyrus said in an interview for “Access Hollywood” and “The Billy Bush Show” that Season 4 of “Montana” is expected to air in 2010 and to include 11 half-hour installments and a 1-hour series finale.

“Quite frankly, I give a lot of credit to Miley for taking it to another year,” Cyrus said. “She didn’t want it to just end with whatever was the last episode we did. She wanted it to build to where there’s a moral to the story, to where it doesn’t just end and go away and that’s it. She wanted there to be an official ending to ‘Hannah Montana.’”

He said the final season is slated to start shooting around the end of January.

Now the question is why is P. Diddy visiting Miley Cyrus’ parents home? The music star and Disney’s Hannah Montana television star was reported as bringing on special guests for an upcoming national tour, could this be the reason?

Is there a hip hop/pop/country collaboration boiling between one of hip hop’s biggest and one of pop’s biggest music stars?!

Maybe he was just over to hang out or say what’s up to Miley Cyrus’ father, country star Billy Ray Cyrus, who also plays Miley’s dad on the Disney TV show Hannah Montana.

No one was sure whether Cyrus would return to the series that made her a global star, however Cyrus recently expressing her intention to continue her small-screen duties as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana for another year.

As part of the deal, Cyrus will get a long hiatus to work on the feature “The Last Song,” with production on the fourth season of “Hannah Montana” slated to begin next year. (Filming of the show’s third season wraps this week.)

The series will change settings next season, during which the Stewarts will grapple with saying goodbye to their beachfront Malibu home.

The 16-year-old star of TV character Hannah Montana has vowed she will not have sex before marriage.

Miley is currently dating a 20-year-old underwear model.
