I have to admit we were caught off guard by this news, Jada Pinkett Smith’s television medical drama “Hawthorne” has been renewed for a second season, TNT announced.
The viewership is a lot higher than we expected, the series is averaging about 3.8 million viewers during its current first season.
We are not hating on Jada, we LOVE her.

After hearing Jada say she is doing Hawthorne to dust off her directing skills & some bad early buzz I assumed the show wasn’t worth my time.
