Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen’s Sheen’s bitter divorce and custody battle was well publicized.

Many scoffed at Denise’s claims of Sheen’s domestic violence.

After a Los Angeles Judge ordered Charlie Sheen to stay 300 feet away from Denise Richards and their two daughters.

Sheen said Richards’ was lying, he denied Richards’ allegations of gambling, drugs, porn, and threats.

Sheen married Brooke Mueller Sheen, a real estate investor, in May 2008.

She gave birth to the couple’s first children, twin boys, in March 2009.

We can’t confirm Charlie is beating Brooke but this is what we do know:

Charlie Sheen spent the better part of Christmas Day in an Aspen, Colorado jail.

Sheen, 44, was booked on felony charges of second-degree assault and menacing, and a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief, all of which were “coupled with a domestic violence component,” the Aspen Police Department said.

According to reports, Mueller called 911 at 8:34 AM Christmas morning and claimed that Sheen had assaulted her. Sheen was booked on charges of felony domestic violence.

At first Sheen was held without bond but after Mueller confessed that she was drunk when she made the call, and will no longer cooperate with the police. Sheen was released on Friday evening after posting an $8,500 bond.

The Chief Deputy D.A. in Aspen, Arnold Mordkin, expects to file charges against Sheen at a February 8th hearing.

However, with reports surfacing that Mueller has recanted her entire story, Mueller could face charges as well.  Says Mordkin: “I often file [criminal charges] against someone who falsely accuses someone.”

Police declined additional comment, saying a news release would be issued on Monday with any new details.

Sheen’s publicist warns us not to “jump to conclusions.” Okay then……………

We’ll focus on his five children and the additional drama for Charlie’s dad, our beloved Matrin Sheen.

Martin says about the last time he helped his son:

“When a life is at stake and it’s your child, you become fearless in a lot of ways. I mean, you just become fanatic,” he said. “Nothing ever gets done unless it’s by a fanatic.”

“The only way I got to Charlie, frankly, was because he’d skipped out of the hospital. I had to pay the bill. In paying the bill, I got to see why he was in there. He’d consumed an illegal substance; he was on probation…This was a criminal matter. And so that was the wedge; that was the leverage I had…It was the only way I got him.”
