Actress Kandi Burruss’ ex-fiancé AJ Jewell was killed in a fight outside a club on Friday evening. AJ Jewell got up in a clash outside a strip club called The Body Trap on Friday evening. The clash occurred in the parking lot of the club at 10 p.m.
AJ Jewell was brutally beaten and received many severe head injures. AJ Jewell was taken to hospital immediately where he succumbed to his injuries. The departed was a father of six children. It has been stated by one of the police officers that apparently AJ had verbal conflict with other fighters.
Police have arrested Fredrick Richardson as a person of interest and charged him with voluntary manslaughter.

AJ Jewell was engaged to actress and singer Kandi Burruss but the couple called it a day after having a conflict over some domestic issues. Kandi Burruss is an award-winning song writer, singer, and producer who lives in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a well-known singer in the music industry and she was one of the members of R&B girl group Xscape. She has also co-written many songs including Destiny Child’s ‘Bills, Bills, Bills’ and has won an Emmy too. Kandi joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta in July where she replaced DeShawn Snow.
She got engaged to AJ Jewell few months before joining the cast of the reality TV show. Kandi’s mother wasn’t happy with her decision and it has been speculated that it eventually became a cause for the couple’s break up. Kandi is the guardian of AJ Jewell’s twin daughters.

Lisa Wu Hartwell, the only Housewives castmate who knew Burruss personally before this season began taping says:
“I’m still in shock,” she wrote in an e-mail Saturday. Her husband “Ed used to talk to A.J. often and we’ve grown fond of him. I was deeply saddened to hear what happened to A.J. A.J. was a nice guy and he will be missed.”
