Eddie Murphy’s latest family comedy ‘Imagine That,’ opens June 12.
Eddie and his young costar Yara Shahidi say the film follows Evan Danielson (Murphy), a focused financial wizard who finds himself struggling to connect with his seven-year-old daughter Olivia (Shahidi).
Once Evan opens himself up to the possibility of imaginary princesses and fairytales reached through Olivia’s blanket she calls her “Goo-Gaa,” his outlook on life transforms and he soon learns that success cannot be found only in a stock portfolio, but through his daughter’s fairytale fantasies. ‘Imagine that!’
