Chris Brown has kept mum for the most part regarding the incident with Rihanna back in February. His lawyer had advised him not to speak about the subject matter publicly, and Chris followed his orders.
In the video, he says, “I wish I had the opportunity to live those few moments again, but unfortunately I can’t. I cannot go into what happened, and most importantly I’m going to sit here and make any excuses.”
He continued, “I am very sad and very ashamed at what I’ve done. My mother and my spiritual teachers have taught me way better than that.”
Chris says in the video, “I have told Rihanna countless times and I’m telling you today that I am truly truly sorry and that I wasn’t able to handle the situation both differently and better.”
