Tom Brady’s wife blames his teammates for losing the Superbowl

Monday, February 6th, 2012

Watching your husband’s team lose the Super Bowl can’t be easy, but nobody expected this kind of reaction from the world’s most famous supermodel. Gisele Bundchen tossed Tom Brady’s teammates under the bus following the Giants 21-17 upset of the Patriots in the Super Bowl. The Brazilian beauty was caught in a moment of weakness by TheInsider.com waiting for an elevator as she left the suites at Lucas Oil Stadium. A few Giants fans started heckling her about Brady’s performance as she walked quickly through the concourse. After initially smiling and even trying to ignore the fans, Bundchen let her guard down just long enough to deliver a foul-mouthed defense of her man and a sideswipe of his receivers.

“You (have) to catch the ball when you’re supposed to catch the ball,” she is heard saying. “My husband cannot [expletive] throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.” Patriots receivers Wes Welker, Deion Branch and Aaron Hernandez all dropped passes. As a team, New England dropped at least four catchable balls. Bundchen, 31, married the Patriots star in February 2009. The Brazilian fashion model is believed to have a net worth of more than $150 Million. The couple is expected to spend much of the off-season at a new $20 million mansion in Los Angeles.

Monday, September 26th, 2011

Jay-Z is set to christen the new home of his New Jersey Nets basketball team by headlining the first concerts at the venue. Jaz-Z is part-shareholder in the franchise, and has been closely involved in plans to relocate the team from its current home at the Prudential Centre in Newark, New Jersey to Brooklyn, New York next year. During an interview on the Fox 5 news network on Monday, he revealed the team will officially be renamed the Brooklyn Nets after the big move to the Barclays Center ahead of the NBA’s 2012-2013 season. Jay-Z said, “It’s great. I have a reason to come to Brooklyn often, which is fantastic for me because this is my foundation.”

Jay-Z hopes to make full use of the Barclays Center by turning it into a venue to rival Manhattan’s Madison Square Garden – and he will launch the Nets’ new home with a few gigs of his own.

He added, “I’m going to open the building with a concert – or a couple of concerts, actually. It’s going to be more than about basketball; it’s an entertainment arena.”

Jay-Z is also hoping to use his superstar power to attract new Nets fans he will front the team’s promotional campaign in a bid to sell special All-Access seats at the 18,000 capacity arena. Nets CEO Brett Yormark says, “The message is that the Barclays Center is much more than basketball. There will be great concerts and other entertainment.

Octomom Nadya Suleman got into a boxing match, fled from her opponent, but still won the title! Only in Hollywood…

Entertainment news was in the arena when Octomom joined the Celebrity Boxing Match in Fort Lauderdale, Florida over the weekend. She entered the ring with bartender Cassandra Andersen, and apparently slinging drinks across a bar and strong-arming drunk patrons gives a woman a much better workout than running after 14 kids, because Andersen pummeled Suleman for all she was worth…
