Angelina Jolie has spoken out against the proposed burning of the Koran by a small Florida church on the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. When asked about the church’s plan, Jolie responded, “I have hardly the words that somebody would do that to somebody’s religious book.”

Jolie is in Pakistan visiting victims of the recent flooding, the worst in the country’s history. “There are people displaced by the floods and they’ve lost their homes. And the floodwater was as high as this ceiling when you see the mark, and I was surprised by that,” Jolie said to reporters. “And their needs need to be addressed.”

When Angelina Jolie arrived with Brad Pitt for the premiere of her new movie, the cameras turned from the carpet to the street to watch fans enjoy meeting two of the biggest stars in the world strolling down Hollywood Boulevard.

Brad quickly snuck inside, telling me, “Sorry, George. I’m off tonight.”

That’s because this is Angelina’s movie.

“Salt” is an adrenaline-filled action movie with Angelina’s character, Evelyn Salt, working for the CIA. When she’s accused of being a Russian spy, things get really wild.

Angelina proudly did her own stunts for this movie.

“Just a lot of hand-to-hand combat, but the jumping stuff, which was a lot of that, you just have to jump,” said Angelina.

Asked how she made it through dangerous, high-rise apartment stunts, Angelina replied, “Fortunately, I’m not afraid of heights, so I like it. I actually do like it. I’m a little odd that way.”

“We want to do our own stunts. But some people are very talented to do their own stunts — Angie’s one of them,” said actor Jon Voight, Angelina’s father. “But for a father, it’s not easy to watch some of the stuff.”

“Salt” is fast-paced, and keeps you guessing every step of the way.

“I like that, too. It was amazing,” said “Salt” co-star Liev Schreiber. “It is just non-stop. It comes at you from every angle.”

When the movie ends, you realize there’s an opportunity for a “Salt” sequel.

“We’ve all spoken about maybe a sequel,” said director Phillip Noyce. “But it’s up to those guys out there to vote at the box office.”

“Salt” opens Friday. It’s rated PG-13.

The ‘Salt’ actress – who raises six children with her partner of five years – already has an array of body art and has now added a heart on her inner thigh to show her love for the Hollywood heartthrob.

When asked about the inking, Angelina replied: “Um, it’s for Brad.”

Although she refused to give any more information on the design, she admitted it probably won’t be long before she does, admitting to MTV: “I’m bad at hiding secrets.”

Angelina also defended four-year-old daughter Shiloh’s sense of style after she recently revealed the blonde-haired tot likes to dress as a boy.

The 35-year-old screen beauty – who also has Maddox, eight, Pax, six, Zahara, five, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne with Brad – said: “Children should be allowed to express themselves in whatever way they wish without anybody judging them because it is an important part of their growth.

“I think Shiloh is fascinating, the choices she is making. And I would never be the kind of parent to force somebody to be something they are not. I think that is just bad parenting.”

Speaking previously about Shiloh’s fashion sense, Angelina said:

“Shiloh, we feel, has Montenegro style. It’s how people dress there. She likes tracksuits, she likes regular suits. She likes to dress like a boy. She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys’ everything. She thinks she’s one of the brothers.”

The trouble between the couple began on June 3, the day before her birthday, when Brad took off from their Los Feliz estate by himself.

Witnesses say the actor, 46, appeared lost in thought as he spent hours drinking beer in the back of a chauffeur-driven SUV, riding aimlessly around L.A.

“I don’t think Angelina knew where he went and that is probably why she got so mad,” says the source. “There was some speculation that he was hoping to see Jennifer Aniston.”

When Brad returned home, a fierce argument erupted.

Angelina, says a source, burst into tears and canceled the family’s plans to go see Sesame Street Live at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on her June 4 birthday.

“All the kids were looking forward to it,” says the source.

“Afterward, Brad and Angelina had expected to do something romantic.”

But after their argument, Angie was too furious to celebrate. “At the last minute she told the staff the whole thing was off,” says the source.

“She didn’t give any reason, just said that they weren’t needed and that she and Brad and the kids were going to stay home.”

The hall of fame rocker and actress, whos 32 years younger than Mick, first slept together in 1997 when Jolie appeared in the Rolling Stones video “Anybody Seen My Baby,” author Jenny Paul claims in her tell-all, “Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie: The True Story.”

The next year, Jolie began shooting “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” the art-imitates-life movie that helped her snare current boyfriend Pitt. Angelina seems to be on a quest to sleep with everybody who is anybody. Mick Jagger is like 200 years old and she still slept with him ? If I was Brad Pitt I would kick her to the curb after I vomited.

CEO Glenn McMahon explained to Women’s Wear Daily that the move wasn’t personal, saying “We wanted to make a clean break from actresses and steer away from blondes and cleanse the palette.” “We needed to show a modern point of view of St. John,” McMahon continued, “We have evolved.”

However, Jolie’s replacement isn’t just any model. It’s British supermodel Karen Elson, whose claims to fame include her flame-red hair and allowing fashion photographer Steven Meisel to convince her to shave off her eyebrows for a photo shoot.

But, curiously, Elson–like Jolie–is probably most famous for her personal life. In 2005, she married rocker Jack White after knowing him for just a month. The two wed in a ceremony conducted by a shaman in a canoe on the Amazon river.

The couple has two children, Scarlett, who was born in 2006, and Henry, born in 2007. They met when Elson starred in The White Stripes’ video for the song “Blue Orchid.”

Buzz says, “I’d much rather look at an ad with Angelina Jolie – but that’s just me.”

The donated money will help establish an endowment fund to pay children’s cancer specialists.

The donation will also help the hospital build a new pediatric unit, as well as double the size of its neonatal and pediatric intensive care units.

St. John’s is matching the donation to help fund the expansion of the hospital’s cancer treatment unit, which will be renamed the Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center, in honor of Brad’s mother,

Pitt and Jolie are the parents of six children.

The Pitt family is from Missouri.
